• FINCA International needed a new website and a content management system to aid its Village Banking Campaign.
• The CMS system needed to be easy to update and provide design capabilities that would enable FINCA to bring images and stories about the working poor to website visitors.
• Additionally, FINCA needed its website to accept online donations because the organization’s external donation processing site was inconvenient for donors.

The Solution:

• FINCA selected Sphere® eMarketing™ because it met all the organization’s online requirements.
• Sphere® eMarketing Advanced™ provided online donation capabilities and advanced design capabilities. It was also extremely easy to use.
• The organization also took into consideration Blackbaud’s compliance with the Payment Card Industry Standards (PCI).

The Results:

• FINCA increased its online donations by approximately 455 percent in 2007, and in 2008, online donations increased another 25 percent beyond that.
• The organization almost doubled its number of eNewsletter subscribers in 2007, and it increased subscriptions by another 25 percent in 2008.
• FINCA increased its web traffic to an average of 20,000 visits per month in 2007, and saw another 10 percent increase in 2008.
