Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) was founded in 1953. Since then, it has made over $1 billion in grants and has grown to become one of the largest community foundations in the nation. - Communicating with a new demographic on an interactive website has increased the ability to grow and accomplish new goals.
- With Blackbaud NetCommunity, CFT now has full control of website functionality including new features like on-line registration for events.
- CFT donors can now make grant recommendations seamlessly online, receive comprehensive information about their fund and receive personalized content tailored to their individual interests, all in an environment that is available 24/7.
- The second annual CFT Giving Day in 2010 set a new record. More than 7,000 people donated $5,050,00 that was distributed to 500 organizations. The average donation increased from $400 in 2009 to $545 in 2010.
