Archdiocese of New York Supports its Parishes by Simplifying Information with The Raisers Edge Enterprise

Founded in 1808 by Pope Pius VII, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York is a large archdiocese covering New York, Bronx, and Richmond counties in New York City. With 400 parishes and 2.5 million Catholics relying on its education programs and social, pastoral, and education ministries, the Archdioceses now includes more than 1,800 priests, 350 deacons,1,500 religious brothers, and 3,150 nuns.

The Challenge:
With five overlapping databases and 750,000 records, the Archdiocese of New York needed a way to simplify and centralize information. Accounting for all donations in a timely manner and strengthening the view of giving history was a large undertaking. The staff at the Archdiocese of New York struggled with unifying databases and reducing redundancies because of ineffective reporting.
