Employee Volunteer Impact Grants

In 2008, we launched a program that honors the way individuals embody our corporate value that “service to others makes the world a better place.”  The program, called “Reward Your Passion,” is a really simple way for us to ensure that our corporate dollars are reaching the wide range of communities where employees live and serve.

Blackbaud employees can apply for grants for the nonprofits where they volunteer.  We keep the application to a few brief questions about the type of service and the impact they make.  A committee of employees representing all our locations around the world – called Team Blackbaud Global – reviews the applications each quarter.

When the grantees are selected, we send the donations to nonprofits in honor of the individuals’ service.  This program is a win-win, helping nonprofits while celebrating our employees’ volunteer service.

Each year, we expect to make about 80 grants through this program.  Recent recipients include:

• The Boston Living Center, Boston, MA
• New Jewish Theatre, St. Louis, MO
• School on Wheels, Indianapolis, IN
